Over the years we have forged strong friendships with talented Cornish craft workers to present work that is locally  handcrafted and unique. Even our cake! In fact, we are confident that we are the only gallery in Cornwall that has its cake mentioned in the visitors book! And if you want to know more about the artists just ask, we're happy to provide information and contact details.

But there is one piece of craftwork you can't take away, The Morvah Door. Early in 2001, residents of the village of Morvah got together with local stained-glass artist, Deborah Martin, to produce a stained glass door that represents life here in Morvah. Each image presents a unique part of life in the parish; the telephone box, a tractor, the parish church, pet dogs, a hawthorn tree. But like pieces of a jigsaw, they all fit together, creating a bigger picture of village life as a whole. It really is a very special piece of work and one we are all very proud of. It's worth visiting the Schoolhouse simply to see it and it alone.
