Another beautifully presented little book, and a good addition to anyone's library.
This book starts by detailing the background to the disaster in the form of the widespread emigration in Norway at the time. The author then provides detailed biographical information for the 31 Norwegian passengers.
A larger proportion of the text than I would have liked is devoted to the re-telling of the disaster, although this is acceptable-every student of Titanic wishes to write their version of events.
The most interesting work from my perspective was detailed in the last pages of the book, with information on how the relatives faired when it came to obtaining compensation, and also what happened to the survivors. The latter area is one that is more often than not simply glossed over by most authors, and Per Kristian Sebak is to be congratulated for his research.
Again this is a work profusely illustrated throughout with some 140+ photographs, the vast majority of which I have never seen before. The only problem is that the book can at times be difficult to locate, though persevere! It is well worth it.
