This review is quite simple. A superb book from start to finish. I could finish here, but might as well go on to say a little more.

The book, as the name suggests, concerns the construction of Titanic. Beautifully illustrated throughout, with photographs of the people and places involved in the birth of these ships, through to photographs which are all correctly identified (worth mentioning as it must be almost unique!) The text consists of several paragraphs at the start of a chapter and then a paragraph on each photograph. Interspersed are quotes from various publications of the day praising the new class of ocean liner.

I become more impressed with this publication every time I leaf through it, and have to say that if you have not got it GET IT!
