A beautifully crafted book, lavishly illustrated with rich text.
Packed with photographs of the ship and people, as well as many
pre-discovery artefacts, this book conveys marvellously the human story of the
disaster. It does not present a history of the ship, but each page has several photographs with a caption
providing some information on each view.
It depends very much upon what you are interested in as to whether you
would want to buy this book. If I had £20 it would not be at the top of my list,
however, if you have pretty much everything on the Titanic, this book is well worth buying.
