S.A.G.E. Committee
CHAIRMAN: John C Blacklaws
Is a
resident of Silverlea. John was involved in the setting up of S.A.G.E. since
its formation as the North West Residents Group. His aim is to maintain and
improve the value of life in residential homes.
VICE CONVENOR: Estelle McLeod
Lives in Eagle Lodge and became interested in joining S.A.G.E. after meeting
our chairman. She would like all residents to be able to enjoy a lively
lifestyle.
TREASURER: James Roemmelle
Is a
resident at Porthaven. He would like to raise the profile of the needs of older
people.
SECRETARY: Joe Wainford
Believes
that the best way forward for the Newsletter would be for members to become
more vibrant in contributing their opinions to make it more interesting and
stimulating.
Georgina Johnson
Is a resident
of Sighthill and through attending a general meeting of S.A.G.E. volunteered
for the Committee. She believes we need as much input from individuals as
possible.
David Keith
Is a resident of
Oaklands and ensures all the residents are kept up to date with the work of
S.A.G.E. He believes that the membership needs to continue to expand to provide
a stronger voice.
Francis Small
Is a resident at
Oaklands and enjoys helping people living in Homes to have their say.
Sandy Kay
Lives in Fords
Road and is working, through S.A.G.E., to ensure
an acceptable personal allowance for all older residents.
Gordon Marshall
Would like to
develop the work of S.A.G.E. with other local groups to further spread our aims
and ideas not only in residential Homes but also in the Community.
Lilian Dunlop
Would like all
residents to have the confidence to have their say and supports S.A.G.E. in its
work to enable that.
Mary Amos
Would like all older
people to be valued and respected as equals.
