VOTE NLF FOR THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS!

The Nava Sama Samaja Party (NSSP) is contesting Under the banner of New Left Front (NLF) for the whole of Sri Lanka for the first time ever. We stand for the following Socio-Economic Programme

• To stop the economic disaster caused by the policies dictated by the World Bank (WB) International Moneary Fund (IMF) and the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and carried faithfully by both the U.N.P. and the P.A pushing Sri Lanka into an economic disaster.
  
  
• To end the war by recognizing the Tamil homeland and the legitimate rights of all other minorities in the country as such as Muslims and Up-Country Tamils.
  
  
• To defeat dictatorial tendencies including the Executive Presidency and Emergency Regulations in order to strengthen democracy that would restore human rights & civil rights.
  
  
• To raise the wage and income rise to equate the cost of living and economic hardship that the WB, IMF, WTO, dictated economic policies and the burden of the war have created untold misery. Full Text
