"TENBOB TENOR"

Of late there has been a large increase in interest, worldwide, with Tenor guitars and many people have asked me if a serious sounding hand built Tenor could be produced to compete, "price wise", with the over-built and over-sprayed dull sounding versions now coming out as mass produced. Well the answer is NO but I have come pretty close as you can see on Page 2 of the price list. The prototype pictured here was made from scrap from the workshop floor as "just a bit of fun" hence the name (Ten bob being an old English term for half of One GB Pound)  ) suppose in the US you would call it "Ten cent Tenor"

I decided that although most area's can be "economised" on the top could not. This is the heart and sole of the instrument and must be inherently sound if any sort of tonal quality is to be forthcoming. Tuners must function correctly and fretting and intonation accurate,

I was so impressed, as were others, with the sound of the prototype I decided a production model should be made. So when I have time it will. Who wants #001?
