This years puppies were born on the 19th march 2006, and will be ready to go to their puppy walkers for the summer, by the middle of June. 

This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone to spend some time with a Bloodhound Puppy, they are very affectionate and loving, real characters and tremendous fun to have around. 

The puppies are fully vaccinated and wormed.  All they ask is to learn there names, walk on a lead, and socialise with the outside world, for approx. 6 months, before coming back to Readyfields in the spring to train and start there working life in the pack. Puppy walking is a very important part of a hounds life and gives them a good temperament both with people, other animals and the outside world.  It also benefits them for the rest of there lives before they are retired.  We are very lucky and have a wonderful core of dedicated puppy walkers but are always looking to give the opportunity to anyone else who may be interested.  The puppies are judged yearly at our puppy show held at Readyfields farm in July, where the Masters invite other hunt masters and huntsman to judge the young hounds. Cups, Rosettes, and plaques are presented to all the puppy walkers who are all invited as guests with their friends & family  for tea by invitation of the Masters.
