Year 8 Assignment Two Why is our School named after Henry VIII?

 

You have a choice of tasks for this Key Question.

 

Task One, Produce an information booklet for Year 6 pupils who are coming to KHS next Year to explain why the school is named after Henry VIII. It must tell the story in full but in an interesting, illustrated, colourful and easy to understand way. A selection of the best ones will be photocopied to show to year 6 pupils and parents on the Open Evening.

Task Two, Write an article for the Abergavenny Chronicle explaining to readers why the school is named after Henry VIII. You will have top choose your words carefully and should complete several drafts before finalising your article. You will need an interesting heading and a picture(s) to go with your article. A selection of the best ones will be sent to the Chronicle for publishing.
