Year 7: Assignment on the Black Death.

Section 1: Knowledge and Understanding

In class you have devised your own questions on the Black Death, you have also found the answers to most of them. You may also have found out other bits of information, which are not covered in your questions.

Decide on the ten best questions about the Black Death.

Think Box: Consider these questions to help you decide on your ten questions.

Can I write much to answer it?
Does it help explain important aspects of the Black death?
Have I covered causes, effects and consequences?

Answer the questions as fully as possible, use pictures, maps and sources to explain your answers.

Section 2: Usefulness of evidence.

We have looked at textbooks, primary sources, videos and the internet. Know you need to consider how useful they were in helping you find out about the Black Death.

Think Box

If someone else wanted to find out about the Black Death and they only had time to look at one type of evidence which one would you tell them to use. Why?

Then think if they had time to look at two pieces of evidence which two would you choose? Why.

And so on.

Before you start this section you should have made a chart like this in your books.
