location for all outdoor activities.

On a summer evening you can sit outside and witness the
sunset over MacLeod's Tables and Portnalong harbour,
and if you have had a strenuous day on the hills the same view can be
observed whilst relaxing with a well earned dram lying on your
bunk, with the top half of the stable type door open . The
south-westerly view from the window by the dining table overlooks
rough croftland towards Ardtreck and the winter sunsets.
The Cabin is fully equipped for two persons - in the small kitchen/living room there is a built in bunk bed fitted with reading lights and mattresses. There is a folding table and chairs with room to sit and eat. A small electric cooker and all cutlery, crockery and pans etc. are provided to complete the kitchen facilities. Residents have their own en-suite wc and whb with running h & c water, and may use the shower in the 'Bothy Beag'. You can bring your own sleeping bags although duvets & sheet sleeping bags are available on request if required. The cabin is fully insulated to comply with housing standards and provides a snug winter retreat. |
