Club Le Monde premieres in London

Charity event held at UGC Cinema, Haymarket and Sugar Reef

Club Le Monde, the final part of Simon Rumley's trilogy about young Londoners at the turn of the Millennium, premiered in London on 14th March 2002.

The glittering event was held at the UGC Haymarket. The tickets, which were quickly snapped up by a variety of celebrities, were sold in aid of Crusaid, the AIDS charity. The performance was sponsored by AllCures.com, the on-line pharmacy.

Guests at the event were presented with a special limited-edition soundtrack album taken from the film. The screening was introduced by Executive Producer John Jaquiss and star Tania Emery, as well as a guest speaker, Dr James Deutsch, Chief Executive of Crusaid.

The evening was rounded off by an exclusive party at Sugar Reef in Windmill Street, DJ'd by Mr. C, Brandon Block and Alex P.

The movie is described by the producers Screen Production Associates as being "Rumley's best film to date", which, given the enormous critical acclaim heaped upon his previous works, is no small achievement. It looks set to become an instant cult classic.
