Tania Emery

Charlotte

Tania Emery started dancing at the age of three and studied acting and dance at the London Studio Centre. Before she took up acting full time, she danced her way through numerous pop videos including those of Cher, Bryan Ferry and D-Ream; on the eve of joining a nationwide tour with East 17, she decided to hang up her dancing shoes and concentrate on her acting career.

Tania is best known as a series regular on The Bill, where she plays DC Kate Spears. She has starred in two other films by Simon Rumley: the critically acclaimed Strong Language and the forthcoming Club Le Monde; and appeared in various shorts including Dolls & Makers in which she plays the lead character of Anne, and Commercial Hairdressing for director Andy Isaacs. Tania has also appeared in The Model Raj at Watermans Arts Centre and played three different characters in BBC Radio 4's The Actress, The Writer and The Censor.

Tania Emery

Tania plays Charlotte in The Truth Game, in which she's at the end of her relationship with flash Dan and is seeing another man on the side. She's a bit of a flirt, not afraid to speak her mind, self confident but not so much that she can't laugh at her mistakes. She's anxious to move on in her life and is excited about where the next move will take her.
