Production Notes

Location

With over one hundred indoor scenes taking place over one evening, it made sense to find one main location. After a trawl around available houses in London, the production team settled on a magnificent Georgian house in the City that had enough space to house the entire production. Owned by fellow independent film maker Laurence Penn, the four storey house - with roof terrace - was built at the tail end of the 18th century and, in its time, has been converted into offices, workshops, studios and flats before being returned to its original state by Penn.

Two of the characters - Eddy (Stuart Laing) and Lilly (Selina Giles) are house-sitting. "I know of people who move from one place to another, spending anything from three or four weeks to three or four months in a house. It meant we could move into Laurence's house and we didn't have to impose the characters - or the art department - on the house."
