Fleet Street

Fleet Street was, traditionally, the place in London where all the major newspaper offices and presses were located. The move from "hot metal" style typesetting to electronic desktop-publishing technologies broadened the skill base and now there are few links remaining between the location and the industry.

The phrase "Fleet Street" is still used, however, as a collective term for newspaper journalists. I can think of another one beginning with F, too...
