People find it strange that a vicar, aged 58, should like to ride Roller coasters, but this is the strange truth. I joined the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain (RCCGB) and each year, in the spring, I join another 500 daft folk like myself for our celebrated “Blackpool Bash” |

Recently, my wife and I went to Florida; there we met with Andy Hinde, the founder of RCCGB, and others for a day at Great Universal Islands of Adventure. We had the most wonderful day, riding on everything that moved, not least every wet ride in the park. |

Most Club members prefer the wooden roller coasters, affectionately called ‘woodies’. However, for me anything that moves along rails or in water channels provides great enjoyment. My favourite rides so far are:- |
