Carmel ZAHRA, E/LX22135, died 9th June 1940, on board the Aircraft Carrier HMS Glorious, when his ship was sunk off the Norwegian Coast by the German Battleships Gneisenau and Scharnhorst

 

Gorg ZAHRA, a crew member of the Mooring Vessel Moor, lost his life on 8th April 1941 when the vessel struck a mine and quickly sank in Grand Harbour

 

John ZAHRA, Steard, E/LX20554, died 14th October 1939, on board the Battleship HMS Royal Oak, when it was torpedoed in Scapa Flow, Scotland, by the German U-Boat U-47. The ship sank with the loss of over 830 officers and men
