Gael Turnbull

On a somewhat more serious note this year saw the death of Gael Turnbull, a member of the Original Welsh Border Morris Men that revived this Tradition of Border Dances. Gael was a much admired member of the club. He was a man of many talents as documented in the obituary columns in many high profile newspapers. In his will he requested that we should remember him by dancing Fanny Frail for which he left a donation to purchase all the members present a wee dram. We performed that dance in his memory at Upton Upon Severn. Gael Trunbull, a true gentleman, rest in peace.
