Steyning Methodist Church:
Baroque Music Recital

On 21 January 2001 we were honoured to be given a recital of baroque music by a group of amateur musicians who had come together purely out of a love of music. This was their first ever public performance, but it was a sheer joy to hear them. The repertoire was extremely varied, as were the instruments employed, including violin, viola, cello, oboe and flute. The photo below shows the musicians taking a bow at the end.

Afterwards, tea, coffee and cakes were provided, which gave us a chance to discuss the recital with the musicians (see photo below).
