This section is devoted to information gathering activities, each of which has an instruction sheet, test sheet (photocopiable) and recording sheet (photocopiable). Activities include: • Pre-reading assessments e.g. shape matching. • Reading assessments. • Assessments looking at spelling, writing, number and colour skills. • Additional activities e.g. looking at the integrity of the visual input lexicon. • Timed activities e.g. looking at responses to the explicit learning of words. • A guide sheet for reviewing a client's past and current reading activities.
