The programme is aimed primarily at improving the comprehension of the written word for those with moderate reading impairment following stroke.

It may also be used for other therapy activities: speech, language, writing and memory skills.

Reading Again comes in two sets, each comprising an introductory tape and booklet, six work tapes and booklets and a blank tape and booklet for individual client use.

A sample pack is available. It contains the introductory tape and booklet and extracts from both set one and set two.

The tapes are professionally recorded and the booklets are clearly printed on thin card. There are 5-8 pages per booklet with 5-6 lines of text per page. The programme progresses from the use of simple 2 word phrases to short, connected sentences.

There is a hierarchy of tasks on each tape including following the text and two levels of questions. Pauses on the tape give the client time to find the answers. Answers to the questions are supplied throughout.

There is over 3 hours playing time per set.

Hours of preparation time saved for therapists!
Hours of work for clients!
