Hello!
I completed my training as a speech and language therapist at the
Kingdon-Ward School of Speech Therapy, London, in 1965. Most of
my career, spanning more than 30 years, was spent in Nottingham,
England. Aphasia therapy was always my prime interest, with a particular
interest in the treatment of reading disorders following stroke
evolving in the last few years.
The availability of good treatment materials to speech and language
therapists and client/carers is essential to achieve good results
in therapy. I have always considered there to be a pressing need
for such materials in the profession. It was for this reason that
I produced "Miss Boggle-Frog, the Wonderful Cook" (for children
working on 's', now out of print) and the two products described
in this web site: "Reading Again" and "Letter-by-Letter Dyslexia:
a resource file and a case discussion". Both of these products were
carefully researched before being produced and I hope you will wish
to find out more about them.
