So what is an electronic book you may ask. It is a book produced on a CDROM and it is designed to be read sitting in front of a computer. It isn’t the sort of book to take with you to the beach, unless you have a sand proof laptop with a good battery…

Julia is from the North West of England and over the last few years she and a friend have walked the whole of the South West Coastal Path. The CDROM holds the hilarious tale of her journey from start to finish of the path.

Why this review? Julia visited the Plymouth area web site and wondered if I might be interested in her story of walking the path.

Reading it, I have laughed at her and laughed with her. Like many of us, I have walked long sections of the coast path and therefore the story of her adventures, anecdotes and reflections on accommodation remind me of my own encounters on the path over the years.

You can dip into the book, pick a section or an area and go for it. I have been entertained for hours reading it. Julia has a fine writing style and her keen sense of humour certainly comes through.

In addition to the travelogue she has included many, many pictures taken on the journey and these can be clicked on to view individually or simply sit back and watch the slide show.
