Wick Amateur Swimming Club Info

How do I join Wick Amateur Swimming Club

In the old recreational club, names were taken of a waiting list as and when there was space in the pool on a Tuesday night. Whilst this system was used for many years the waiting list was long and you literally had to get their names in the day after they were born.

Entry into the new club will be based on swimming ability and most children will be selected as they progress through the Swimming lessons run by the Swimming pool staff. It is also intended to have a few come and try sessions throughout the year. As part of the discussions with the pool supervisor when the club was being set up, it was agreed that Swimming pool staff would double their lessons from 30 minutes to 1 hour per week each day and they would concentrate on learning children to swim and the Swimming club would then concentrate on stroke improvement and competition swimming.

The Swimming pool lessons can be booked at the pool reception.

For any further information on membership etc please e-mail the club.
