The training band meet each Friday at 6.30pm to 7.30pm. This band is for the novice of about grade 1 to 5  and has no age limit . The music is carefully selected to enable individuals to develop at their own pace and without pressure.

Each rehearsal is taken by the Musical Director who believes that they  should be fun and intuitive.

We are always pleased to welcome new members to our band.  Any fears of playing in a large group are quickly forgotten once the music starts.

The training band always perform a short concert as part of the programme at our spring concert which is now held at the Tacchi-Morris Arts centre, and members are encouraged to watch the main concert band perform some wonderful music.
