This section will no doubt
expand – once the lawyers have been consulted!!
Eric the Horse
Eric the Horse is
fortunately, still with us – we think he was given life by Dennis Ward for the
original Wooing Play but would welcome any thoughts on that! Not only did he take part in the Wooing play
but also in a sketch about the Wild West!
There is some confusion as to his name – was his name inspired by John
Cleese’s Eric the Half a Bee or was he named after the landlord (alas with us
no more) of the Worlds End, Knaresborough -Eric Binnington who presided over
our early creative period! Probably
both!
Here he is at home at the
Yorkshire Farming museum at Malton!
