The Prunty brothers, Mark, John Ernest & Vincent played with the Club from approx. 1930 - 1949. They won several championship medals with the club. Vincent & Mark also played for the county team. Their sister Mary Curran nee Prunty is the mother of the Curran brothers, John, Joe, Eamonn, Paddy, Vince, Liam & Frank who all played for the Emmetts through the years. She is the grandmother of Collie Curran well known county player of more recent years. |
