| + Of all the visits we've made to N. Ireland, until august Kato had never played the Exodus club. So it was about time we made some new friends in Portstewart. Exodus is a converted freezer warehouse - now a nightbase - and what an amazing conversion it is. Thanks to all who made it down to the gig and for the Northern Irish hospitality which didnt disappoint. Some fool suggested an early morning trip to the surf in Portrush (oh yeah it was me!) so the morning after the gig Rick, Jon and I (Keith) woke at 6am to catch the first few waves with youthworker / surfer Jonny. Only two wetsuits meant Jon had to take the pics, whilst Keith and Rick got continually wiped out - but to "play" in one of the most beautiful breaks we had seen, was amazing. |
