Full Time Staff Team
Our team is made up of 4 men and 1 woman. We are committed to helping the organisation achieve its primary goal - making disciples. We are based in the Coleraine centre although can often be found hidden in coffee shops throughout the country. Office hours vary significantly but usually you will get someone between 9.30am to 5.30pm.

Jim Brown

Jim leads the team and has overall responsibility for:

  • The management of the ministry.
  • The recruitment and development of those involved in leadership.
  • The identification of ministry opportunities for discipleship teams, both at home and overseas.
  • Overseeing the coaching team (who supports team leaders).
  • Helping to provide direction for the ministry.
  • Looking after his good wife!
  • Overseeing publicity in it's various forms.
  • Providing regular information for the team praying for Exodus.
  • Co-ordinating the Alumni programme.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of the building.

Jonny Ross

Jonny has been a staff member since December 1997. His responsibilities include:

  • Management, recruitment, training and support of the Saturday night volunteer team.
  • Co-ordinating the Ministry programme.
  • Leading one discipleship team.
  • Developing the GAP year programme.
  • Helping to provide direction for the ministry.

Trevor Loughridge

Trevor Loughridge

Trevor has been a member of staff since June 1999. He focuses his energies on:

  • Developing and implementing the Saturday night programme with a team of volunteers.
  • Overall responsibilities for administration. This includes developing systems and procedure which, in particular, help team leaders and co-workers.
  • Management of finance and co-ordinating of the fund raising programme.
  • Co-ordinating the Outreach programme.
  • Leading one Discipleship team.
  • Purchasing.
  • Helping to provide direction for the ministry.

Denise Rosborough

Denise joined the staff in 2000 and takes responsibility for:

  • Overseeing the hosting team on a Saturday night.
  • Encouraging the involvement of young people in the 15/16 age bracket.
  • Promotion within the organisation.
  • Co-ordinating the "Foundations" programme.
  • Leading one discipleship team.
  • Overseeing the “Get Connected” programme.
  • Co-ordinating the "Which Way" programme.
  • Helping to provide direction for the ministry.

Alan Crawford

Alan is the latest recruit to the full-time team. He will be involved in the Ministry programme, and his responsibilities will include:

  • Leading one discipleship team.
  • Helping to provide direction for the ministry.


RAD team

A partnership has developed between The Great Lakes Discipleship Centre and Exodus. This involves members of their one-year RAD program (Reaching And Disciplining) being involved in Exodus between January and August. Team member’s roles and responsibilities vary with their team leader co-ordinating the team ministry. The team leader is responsible to Jim Brown.

Support Staff

Exodus provides opportunities for those who want to give a period of time each week in a voluntary capacity. This is a vital group of people who serve in crucial ways in order that more young people can be discipled.
