Programming

Trevor Loughridge organises the Saturday night programme. This involves:

• Booking acts and speakers
• Taking care of lighting, sound and visuals
• Hosting visitors

The Saturday night programme includes bands (everything from 'acoustic' to 'rock'), drama, game-shows, soap-box + DJ.

The purpose of Programming is to provide alternative quality entertainment with the spirit of community.

Denise Rosborough oversees the hosting team, which is made up of volunteers who have committed to give their time and energy to welcoming people on a Saturday night.

The purpose of Hosting can be summarized as follows:

• To build good relationships
• To chat to people about Jesus
• To encourage and support hurting people
• To make such a good impression, that people will want to return
• To involve people in the discipleship programme
• To introduce people to the 'which way?' group
  

Volunteering

Jonny Ross co-ordinates the volunteer team, which comprises bar, floor and door staff.

The purpose and value of the role:

• To serve God wholeheartedly
• To share Christ
• To build good relationships

Applications for the volunteer programme should be made in January or September, and application forms are available from Jonny.
