November 2003 Charity concert

Our nominated charity for this concert was Whizz-Kidz a charity dedicated to giving non-mobile children the ability to get around without assistance.
We were pleased to announce we had raised £114 on the night.

Chairman John opened proceedings playing his Wersi Abacus Duo.
Starting with Close To You They Long To Be played to a slow brush rhythm, he then played a waltz Around The World.
El Condor Pasa, Angel in Blue, You To Me Are Everything and True Love Ways made up the rest of his program.
Catharina playing her Yamaha Tyros Next on stage was Catharina playing her Yamaha Tyros. She played a selection of music from Oliver, starting with I'd Do Anything, then As Long As He Needs Me, Food Glorious Food, Where iS Love, Pick A Pocket Or Two and finally Consider Yourself.
Alan playing his Ketron SD1 Plus Alan brought the first half to a close playing his Ketron SD1 plus. his selection of music started with Early Autumn then went on to At My Time Of Life, Watch What Happens, Time Was, Time On My Hands, With A Song In My Heart and finished with Remind Me
Reg playing his Technics KN6000 Reg opened the second half of the concert playing his Technics KN6000. For i=his selection Reg chose I Could Have Danced All Night, Hello Dolly, his own composition My Love, Mr. Sandman, Stranger On The Shore, Come Back To Sorrento and Sound Of Music.
Dorothy playing her Yamaha PSR2000 Next on stage was Dorothy with her Yamaha PSR2000. Her selection of music was Too Soon To Know, Don't Tell Me Your Troubles, In Dreams, How Wonderful To Know and finished with Love Possessed.
Joyce and Tom As has become something of a feature of our charity nights the finale act was Joyce and Tom, Joyce on Yamaha PSR 2000 and Tom with his fine singing voice.
Their music included Don't Stop, Autumn Leaves, Do I Love You, Swannee, Pretty Baby and many more.
The BKC welcom players encore As is usual with all BKC concerts there was an encore, just about everyone on stage singing I'll See You In My Dreams.
