Post-AGM Work Party all photos by B.Thomas
Sun. 6th April 2003
| The Group's AGM on Saturday 5th April was followed on the 6th by a Working Day, as is usual practise for the SELG. This is particularly useful for those travelling longer distances, making good use of their time whilst in the area. Some of the members are pictured here tackling a few of the tasks. | |

| 063's FV3 train airbrake controller receives attention. At this stage, it's been removed from the driver's desk. Both cabs had their controllers worked on. |

| The main thrust of the day was to clear the vegetation from behind the platform fence at Shepherdswell station. The ground is to be prepared to take containers for storage purposes, hopefully in place by July/Aug.. The privacy of our neighbours will be maintained by planting various evergreen shrubs and trees on the EKR's boundary. A full report of our activeties through the day appeared in our May Newsletter. |
