73006 : made an appearance at the Eastleigh Works centenary celebrations, 23-25 May, as the last loco built at Eastleigh
(albeit the long-closed Carriage Works site 1/2 mile to the north). Having been repainted during March/April at
Bewdley Carriage works, '6' sported a high quality BR Blue livery, loosing the
electric blue with grey lower body stripe. Click HERE

'6' is to appear at Long Marston for the open weekend, 6-7 June, dragged by 47540 in the
company of 50035 + 50026 (photo HERE),
also ex-Eastleigh Centenary, moving on Thurs.4th June.
27066 : side-lined due to a traction motor 'malfunction' on 29th April. Pending full investigation into the nature
of the incident....mechanical, electrical or both.

LOCO FLEET QUICK SUMMARY
08238 : O/O/S. The generator on black '08' no. 13308 'Charlie', packed up around 5th Nov./08. The P.U./Gen lump will
need lifting out before dispatching of the gen. for overhaul.
E6001 : Operational. Power unit governor fault repaired in April.
E6005 : O/O/S at the Severn Valley Rly. - requires a bogie lift to attend to seized bearing.
73006 : Operational. In BR Blue, at Long Marston 6/7 June.
73101 : O/O/S at the Avon Valley Rly.. A new set of batteries is required, plus some attention to the p/u governor.
31466 : Operational. Repaint into EWS maroon livery completed, including that below the solebar.
27066 : O/O/S (TM3 problems to be investigated)
31210 : detailed loco restoration ongoing; cab #2 metalwork being replaced, cab 1 refitting continues.
25283 : O/O/S pending restoration in the long term.
