Born in the County of Kent, England, my early youth was spent living on various farms in the South of England, at the age of fourteen settled in the county of Berkshire, so I am a country boy at heart.
I know you can't wait for me to get on to the good bits, OK, OK, don't be impatient, height 180cm just under 5ft 11ins, did you know that you get shorter as you get older, well I have, weight,106kg or 196lb must, lose some weight, OK age next 51, ouch that nearly hurt, never mind I don't feel this old, most of the time a young lad with an older body, hair next yes I still have it all, most of it dark with a few strands of grey oh yes and I have it all over my face, a beard, not the in thing but I don't care, it,s been part of me for twenty odd years, eyes, blue one of my better points so I have been told and I agree, they can still sparkle given the right setting.

Where do you want to go next?, how about some of the things I have done in the past, a bit like a log book for a car, so the description would not be, one careful owner garaged at night , more like, driven by slightly mad owner and don't wash the mud off, it's all that is holding it together.
I started off all right a bit of rugby football and cross country running oh what it was to be young and fit, from that I went into dinghy sailing, a small boat called a Fireball an over grown surf board with lots of sail, me I was what was known as a trapeze artist, swinging from side to side on the outside of the boat just to keep it upright, well most of the time, we might not have been very good but we did have some fun, do you know it can blow a gale and the shout was always for more wind.
After that I settled down a bit, nice long walks on the south coast and beach combing, the only trouble was the beaches that we wanted were out of bounds for most people so began a few years of cliff climbing and I don't like heights, wonderful views just don't look down and talking of down I was a member of a Speleological society, caving or potholing to everyone else, the caves are in Wales at a place called Penwylit, in case you are interested the cave system is called Dan-yr-Ogof, and I must say the people and the pubs were great,

It's been rather dull these last few years, I must be slowing down, not really, work has taken up a lot of my time and I had a few years of photography, all my own developing and printing, I was rather good at it even if I do say so myself, I will let you know if I start again, what did I take photo's of did I hear you ask? Dressage mostly, and in case you don't know what that is, Horses, ballet on four hooves, one of the most elegant and wonderful sights to behold, OK that might sound a bit flippant, I know the hard work put in by the riders and horses, so if anyone out there has not seen it, look it up, and to get a true feeling for it see it live at a show.
