Tips and quip's, help and fun all rolled into one OK so what do you want to know? All tips written in plain English, no technical words to confuse you. Tip one, Look after your workers, and they will look after you. So don't forget, tea or coffee at regular intervals, brunch will be nice and all the words of encouragement when the going gets tough.

Tip OK if you don't know your contractor very well, get a written Quote or estimate for all work to be carried out or you might find a little forgotten extra is going to cost you big. Just to remind you, when you read that piece of paper does it say Quote or Estimate?, it could make a big difference to the end price you pay.
Paint tip when painting windows, don't try to paint a line on the angle of the wood and glass, paint onto the glass by 3mm it's a lot easier and it seals the putty and wood from the elements.	Papering tip Dilute some wallpaper paste and roll or brush the walls with it first, it seals the surface and lets you slide the paper so making for an easier job.	Smile
Top tip Have you just started out on the DIY road or trying something different, OK so it might not end up being the best job in the world, but when it all done look at it and touch it, Hey, You did it, so well done.
