| Notes |
One of the few
players to have won 9 consecutive championship medals during the nine-in-a-row years,
Gough is a true legend such was his contribution to the Rangers team during this time.
Gough's professional approach and attutude to the game meant that he was rarely
injured. At the end of his 10th season at Ibrox, Gough joined Kansas City Wizards in
the US soccer league for 1 season, before returning to Ibrox to cover for injuries to key
defenders in the closing months of season 97/98 during the push for ten-in-a-row.
Such was his form and fitness levels during this time, Gough earned himself a move to
Everton to join up again once more with Walter Smith. |
