Royal Airforce Lossiemouth Family and Friends Day 2001

I was lucky enough to be invited and went along, camera in hand, to visit the base.

The aim of the open day was to raise money for local charities. This year those charities were "The Moray Hospice Appeal, The Moray branch of the Crossroads Care Attendant Scheme and The Moray Carers Project."

The program of events was to include a flying display as well as flying lessons provided by local flying clubs and all sorts of demonstrations and sales. Also on show was the maintenance hanger wher you were allowed to see some of the work going on with various Tornados.
