Comments:

Greyhound was a typical Clyde built coast paddler and was a good looking boat. She ran from Blackpool to Douglas and Llandudno and during the holiday season she was used from Preston to Llandudno and the Menai Straits. On Sundays she sailed from Liverpool to Blackpool. In the First World War she was used as a minesweeper, being returned to her owners in 1919. She was reconditioned and resumed her pre war service to the Isle of Man and Llandudno, but was sold in 1923 for use out of Belfast for excursion and tender work. She was sold again to Turkish owners in March 1925 and renamed Buyuk Ada. This card was posted at Menai Bridge on 25 July 1907 to Bessie Sharp by Harry Jones, who was the cook aboard Greyhound at the time.
