This little book is a gem. In hardback, red linen cover, it is dated 1902 and comprises around 150 pages packed full with details of fares, routes, places of interest and the company's steamers. It has maps, timetables, details of luggage allowances, hotels, agents etc and contained all that the well heeled traveller would need to follow the "Royal Route" at the turn of the 19th century. Pretty good value for one shilling, even in those days.
