Comments:
This large, cross Channel steamer was built in Poplar, with engines by John Penn. She sailed to the Continent from Folkestone and had a short service life, which appears to have been quite uneventful. She was refitted towards the end of her career, when she appeared with straight topped funnels. After only 18 years she was broken up in January 1900.
