Comments:
Launched on 15 April 1890, she was similar to Caledonia and could carry over 1000 passengers at a speed of around 17 knots. She was well fitted out and was adorned with the latest fashionable furnishings. She ran on the Rothesay and Kyles of Bute service initially and later as the Largs and Millport steamer for the CSP Co. She saw war service as a minesweeper and transport ship. She continued in service with the company after the war and surviived until 1935, when she was sold in May for scrapping. She was immediately resold to Redcliffe Shipping Co Ltd for use out of Yarmouth and Lowestoft, but she lasted only two more years before being sold to German breakers in 1937.
