Paddle Steamer Picture Gallery

HMS Skiddaw (Campbell's PS Britannia)

This picture was taken from HMS Skiddaw early in the war and shows the P&A Campbell paddler PS Waverley (ex Barry) loaded with troops, possibly in the Solent? Her wartime name was HMS Snaefell. Thanks go to Allan T Condie for help in the identification of this vessel.
