Comments:
A steel paddler, of 222 feet length, this boat operated out of Blackpool, where this card was posted on 10 August 1905. Queen of the North was unusal in that she had four oscillating cylinders, rather than the normal diagonal arrangement. She was used for excursions to Douglas Isle of Man. Queen of the North was requisitioned for use as a minesweeper in the Great War and was sadly lost on active service in 1917.
