Comments:
This iron built vessel was launched as PS Waverley (I) for the service from Silloth in Cumbria across the Solway Firth. She sported two funnels, which gave her a fine and balanced profile, but after just one year's service with her original owners she was sold in 1865 for use from Lerwick, where she is shown here. Her new owners renamed her St Magnus (I). She was sold again in 1904 to Gibraltar owners and was broken up at Rotterdam in 1913.
