These pictures are shown by kind permission of David Taylor and were taken on a day trip from Weymouth to Lulworth Cove circa 1951. The pictures show David, his brother Colin, his father Dennis and mother Vera. David's father had an uncle and aunt (Bert and Lilly) who lived at Weymouth and whom they used to visit for holidays, with Lulworth Cove as a favourite spot. David remembers sitting on the beach and watching PS Victoria pull in to the rickety landing stage which was used to disembark passengers to the shore.
