Jimmy and Ila Dalrymple (both originally from Laurinburg) arrives in the Oban area for a week's visit, accomanied by their daughters. | ||||||||||||||||||||

June 2000 |
Exchange group of 10 students arrives from Laurinburg's Scotland High School, led by Nancy Shelley. They enjoy marvellous weather, and a busy programme, including trips to Edinburgh and Staff, and a farewell ceilidh in Kilmore Hall. Nancy Shelley is Chair of Scotland County Commisioners,and is recognised at a small civic reception by Argyll & Bute Council. Programme for June 2000 - highlights.

Bruce Pinkerton flies out to spend a Senior year at Scotland High. A Laurinburg couple who now live in Arizona pay a brief visit to Oban. (Names to be added) | ||||||||||||||||||||

Return visit by an Oban High School group of 10, led by Ann Stewart. The students are;
