I've been sorting out my Canadian beermats and a few of my unidentified items that I acquired from collectors in that country are illustrated on this page and the next. The coasters are not necessarily Canadian!

Master Lager is from the Grande Brasserie de Nouvelle-Calédonie in Nouméa, New
Caledonia (thanks to Fernando Cardoso). Gold Pression is from the Brasserie de Tahiti (thanks to John Richards)

Stephanie Vance and Todd Kuiper of the Canadian Beer review tell me that Mick's Red is a Labatt's brand.

Jo Ramakers tells me that these two are from the Reds brewpub in the West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton Alberta. Other beermats like these exist, but he doesn't  have them, so we'd both be pleased to hear from anyone with two copies spare!

A recent ramble on the internet found reference to a "Renegade Brewing Co." in Thunder Bay, Ontario, so perhaps this is one of their mats. Marshall Cram has confirmed this.

Jo tells me that "Bytown" is the original name for Ottawa. Marshall Cram has added that the company came from Nepean, a suburb of Ottawa. Now I've found a label that shows that the beer was brewed by the Ottawa Valley Brewery of Nepean. We got there in the end!
