BOB AND FAMILY |

When Bob returned to UK he worked for ICL but later become freelance as a computer contractor. He married Margs in May 1987 and they lived in Langley, Berkshire. They have two children, Jamie and Rebecca and now live in Iver in Buckinghamshire. Margs was working as a bookkeeper/accountant but later took a management position with a computer support company. To enable this the children, when they were young, attended a local day nursery. Unfortunately this was later threatened with closure so Bob and Margs decided to take it over and formed Chartwell Nursery Services to own and run it. |

The children are now both at school in Langley. Bob and Margs are both keen on tennis and do well in the local Sports Club tournaments, plenty of trophies on the mantelpiece. Bob has also played a lot of badminton, including training the juniors and also plays five-a-side football given half a chance. Margs is a talented musician and with her twin sister, Kath, is part of the group ‘Cherub’ |

The premises previously occupied by the nursery, Little Chicks, were required back by the school to cope with an increase in local school age population. By coincidence, the nearby adult education college was considering the provision of a crèche to facilitate the recruitment of adult students. |

After due consideration ‘Little Chicks’ has moved into part of the East Berkshire College in an enlarged form, still catering for its own clients but also taking in children from College students and staff. Margs is now full time involved in the management and development of ‘Little Chicks’ (click on the flag) |
