Having lived with two male Norwegian Forest cats for over a year I longed for a female to add to the family. I approached Kate & Doug Campbell of Maelstrom cats, whom had long since become friends, about this possibility. I immediately liked Selene Felis Audax DK and waited patiently for the day for her to become a mum.
That day finally arrived on 4 july 1998 when I met her newly born kittens.
At only 4 hours old Maelstrom Babushka stole my heart ......and the rest is history!

I am pleased to announce that Maelstrom Babushka became a Champion aged 16 months at the Yorkshire Cat Club Show on the 30 October 1999.

Babushka has been shown three times as a kitten and has achieved Best in Show Semi Longhair Kitten at the Capital Long Hair Cat Association Show, three 1st places in the open classes, 2 BOB and 2 red card days.
I am extremely proud of her.

Babushka is a real personality! She is a confident & lively girl who is both loving & affectionate. Her physical attributes include good boning and a beautiful thick double coat.
