Burton ctc on Cannock Chase Anyone wishing to join our rides will be most welcome and they tend to be treated as a sociable outing and not a race between two points on the map. However, a reasonable level of fitness is required to tackle the whole ride. It is possible to do part of the ride and then return home, if necessary a club member is usually willing to escort anyone who is unsure of the way back.

There is usually an objective for our rides and there are stops during the day, usually one midmorning and one at lunch time.
Please bring sufficient food and drink for the days ride. Food at a coffee stop or lunch stop is sometimes available but cannot always be relied upon. It is advisable to bring lights on winter rides in case of a delayed return.
